DAG 149 - Sista dagen
2013-12-31 | 23:29:00
The last day of 2013. This year has been full of great, cool, new things! Everything from doing a great movie about the last year of my high school with Nathalie (which we won a price for), graduating school, moving to a whole new place in a new country, new experiences here in USA, to meeting new friends from all over the world, I also went to a lot of good concerts and a lot more.
Ive also learned a lot of things. More than I could ever imagined. I never thought this would change me so much. No worries, I haven't changed that much, but still! It is amazing how much I have been trough and so on. Im so thankful - first of all for myself, that I took the chance of doing this adventure, but ofc I will also thank all of my friends and family that have always been there for me when it has been tough! Thanks!
This day I spent time with Julia and her Brother downtown. It was snowing and cozy, we were thinking about going to the Art museum but it was too expensive so we went downtown and went shopping. Later we went home and went to the grocery store. I found some Annas Pepparkakor, swedish yum yum! And then we went home, watched Dinner for two, that one you always watch on new years eve. And ofc we rocked our bodies off to some music before going out in the heavy snowing to the pub, where we spent the whole night.
It was so cousey. We had our own table in the corner where we played diff. games and cards. And we ate good hamburgers and later Terry the owner joined us for some more card playing. It was so fun, and later we got our own New Years Eve hat! Then we went into the tv room where everyone else was (the drunk ones) and together we were counting down to the new year! After the clock was ticking by 00:00, the song Auld Lang Syne was playing maybe 20times over and over. Apparently popular here! haha. Then we played some more and then went home. I slept on the floor haha in Julias room cause I didnt wanna go home alone. And that was my New years eve. Not so much party party, but it was still very cousey and it was snowing so beautifully outside so it was kinda perfect anyway. Bye!
